Hi All,

I want to set up a database to monitor our stock levels on printer consumables, it has been a long time since i have created a database any advice would be appreciated.

I use glpi to do this.

You set up your printers and cartridges and then allocate them to printers as you use them that way it will give you stats on how many pages you printed and how long it lasted.

@faza: We did look at creating a database for our consumables/printers here too but after finding glpi (which is being tested now) it seems pointless to spend all that time creating a database yourself. If you really want do an access database i would suggest you spend time figuring exactly what you want to record then create the tables and relationship accordingly. Once you get this right the rest should follow.
