Google images completely filtered in Lancs?

All google images are filtered out here in North Yorkshire. We can access yahoo images though.

We filter all google images here, it is just not worth the grief it causes. Alltheweb is nearly as bad.

Its not as bad here as it used to be. We rewrite the url so its always on safe search and my local dansguardian picks up most undesirable keywords and blocks em.

Our new servers 'hiccupped' last week and blocked them. They are now back to normal. We are meeting with Secure Computing, Smart Filters publishers, next week to put forward requsts for extra facilities to be made available to us (extra levels of filtering etc).

I just block the link to the advanced search option, seems to put them off. Obviously they might come across a few pictures but unless you block all the internet (tried that too !) you can't stop it happening. But its the teachers first port of call for the kids when they want pictures "oh just google it".
