Please can somebody advise me if this is any good on what it says on the website Zoom

Well its a Wirless G router with built in ADSL modem made by a company i've never heard of. Would probably be fine but is it worth taking the risk over a named brand? Up to you.

Zoom has been about for years, its not different to that of "sweex" cheap but same stuff as everyone else. is ok if you want cheap, but you cannot beat branded if you want something decent.

Zoom used to be USR didn't they?

 

I've been stung with kit from a couple of supposedly good comapnies. I now have a 3COM 8250 wireles AP, an IPCop box (on old hardware but soon to be moved to mini-ITX I think) and a ADSL Nation X-Modem (http://www.adslnation.com/products/xmodem-m3.php - an EXCELLENT piece of kit). I've found that this combination is far better.
