agarabaghi Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 So im running into an issue. If i have litetouch windows px x64 boot image mounted, everythign works fine. I can boot into MDT via Lan and install Windows 7 + all my software. We are trying to deploy Thin PC x86 via MDT now, and if i mount the x86 lite touch image, i am able to boot into the x86 version of MDT, but if there a way to select which one? I have a few techs who use the imaging server and they dont need to boot into the x86 ever. How can i make it an option?
VeryPC_Tom_M Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 You need to add two boot images to WDS - an x86 and x64. You can import x64 Wims/ISOs into x86, you'll be able to select either x86 or x64, but x64 will ONLY display x64 task sequences.
Arthur Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Update to MDT 2012 Update 1 as this will enable you to deploy x64 OSs with an x86 boot image... MDT 2012: Cross-Platform Deployment - Michael Niehaus
