64bit?

I've been asked to find out how many machines on our network are 64bit capable. Is there a network scan I can run to check?

depends how much work but i have a script that logs cpus(and all sorts of other cack to ad and csv) so you could just sort by that and work out whatsa x64. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows/92976-network-pc-inventory-script.html

 

tbh it would have to be a netbook or fairly old not to support x64

I think the Microsoft Assessment And Planning Toolkit will do this.

Anything from 8 - 10 years ago will have built in x64 instructions. It's the CPU you're after if you have bunches of workstations or notebooks all the same.
