Copy files over WAN, throttle bandwidth copy operation

Hi

I work in an environment where I tend to need to copy files from our Datacentre to a local office site. Sometimes these files can be large.

The problem I have is if I copy a file which is say 3gb. it can affect the bandwidth for the rest of the users at the local office.

I thought I would try Rich copy (robocopy alternative) but I dont seem to be able to throttle bandwidth on that. FTP is not an option.

Is there another program which would work, it is literally copying a file from a file share at the remote location, to my machine in the office.

Thanks

It's ok. Seems like I found an alternative called UltraCopier which allows me to limit the copy speed.

Trying it now, seems to do the job. Will post back if I give it a thumbs up as someone else may find this useful in future.
