I found this add-on that reverts word 2007 to using toolbars

It has both download and purchase options so I doubt it will be limitaion free without handing over some cash.

We had a student some and complain I'd put Office 2007 in the small study room. I said 'Give it an hour you'll love it'.

 

They came back after the lesson and agreed, found all sorts of features that they hadn't used before.

got it here....

 

Attached is the zipped file with the exe in. Once installed if you open up word, excel, access or powerpoint and click on view, then click on customise ribbon, select customisation schemes, select Classic UI at first time and now you have the classic menu system.
