Hi Nick,

Thanks for the latest HAP+

If I install a new site using Sunday's 8.3 zip file, the site (in the main) does not appear to work. The servers error log contains

2012-11-12 17:02:43 ::1 GET /HAP/scripts/jquery-1.7.2.min.js - 443 stephens ::1 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+MSIE+9.0;+Windows+NT+6.1;+WOW64;+Trident/5.0) 404 0 2 0

2012-11-12 17:02:43 ::1 GET /HAP/scripts/jquery-ui-1.8.16.custom.min.js - 443 stephens ::1 Mozilla/5.0+(compatible;+MSIE+9.0;+Windows+NT+6.1;+WOW64;+Trident/5.0) 404 0 2 0

which are the *old* jquery files.

If I download the 8.3 upgrade file and extract it on top, some of the contained files are different and these particular errors go away (e.g. mobile-base.css is different size; others are same size but different content).

However, even if I do this, the main page after login still shows 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' in the left-hand blue pane above the HAP picture.

Thought you should know, thanks again...

Moby.

Great, thanks... Will that fix the 'Object reference' error that appears in small red writing on the left-hand pane after logon?

Thanks for the spot, will update the setup.aspx page now as well as the full ZIP

Hi Nick,

Do you mean the main Windows event logs? Will look more thoroughly tomorrow when I get back in school, but I couldn't see anything when I briefly looked earlier.

Error as below. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Moby

prob not as that error sounds a bit more strange, what does the event viewer say?

Hi,

In addition to the two 'Object references not found' - as posted in the Windows logs above (/mypic and myfiles/default.aspx) the setup page also has two broken references, attached.

Thanks

Moby

Tried the latest zip file Nick - still badly broken and needs the update zip extracted over the top of it. On a fresh install the 'live tiles' don't show and most links are broken.

Hi Nick,

8.4 is much better, but the setup panel stil shows the two icons below broken on a fresh install.

Thanks,

Moby.
