Hi,

Has anyone successfully locked down ipads to pupils can't change backgrounds etc. ? Is there a tool to to this.

iPhone configuration looks basic. I can't use Apple Configurator as we don't have any OSX devices in school.

Thanks

seems like without using apple configurator you're going to be missing out, one mac mini is really needed, not too much if they're already buying ipads.

Then if you really want to lock them down you can also use the supervised device mode, which as a side effect is the only way to have VPP purchased programs install per device, and get the licence back when you uninstall them.
