Simcfc73 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I was quite looking forward to this film, I even took a half day so i could go last Friday ont he opening day but was soooooooooooooo dissapointed and it looks liek I am the only person on the planet who is. Listening to Kermode and Mayo they were wetting themselves over it and so is TotalFilm. Anyone else seen it and thought it wasn't as good as the hype. Think i enjoyed Dredd more.
timbo343 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I thought the first 10 mins was good, as well as the last 10 but the rest was just boring, to the point where i fell asleep. Still cant beat Golden Eye and a few after that. Dredd and Taken 2 were 2 good films and really out classed Skyfall.

For balance, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole film. Plenty of standout moments, if you disregard a couple of glaring errors! Anyway, enjoy it! Definitely the best Bond film that I've seen at the cinema! 1

Don't think you'll be falling asleep during this one! I think it's important to see ANY film with an open mind. You've paid your money, so prepared to be entertained! Those dissenting voices probably expected something different.... Don't be put off by negative reviews....Make your own mind up!

Very much enjoyed it, though my driver nearly fell asleep a few times, she doesn't do late nights! Didn't look forward to the return trip
mdench Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Saw it sunday night and thoroughly it enjoyed it especially the last 20 mins towards the end. Nearly thought about not bothering to see it as people had said it wasn't very good / boring etc but so glad i did go and see it!
mthomas08 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I actually enjoyed it, thought it could have done with a bit more action and less... "chasing" scenes. The start and ending was great, I agree the 4 star rating. I thought it was better than the last film because that felt too much like the borne trilogy. Casino Royale is still my favourite though out of the craig films.
