This app requires Android 4.0 or higher, but strangely isn't compatible with the Nexus 7. Other than that, it looks really cool.

If you're not familiar with SmartGlass, it controls just about every aspect of the media-friendly Xbox 360 aside from actual game control. The app will let your navigate through your Xbox's menu, pause and play music and videos, or even purchase new content right from your phone. The tiled interface of the 360 is particularly conducive to touchscreen control, as is the digital keyboard for web surfing or searching the store. Its good on Windows Phone 7 too and they are releasing it for iStuff aswell. Makes a really nice remote touchpad for IE10 on the Xbox too. Edited October 27, 2012 by SYNACK

I have it installed and working on my Nexus 7, quite a nice little app.

Installed on my SGSI.... seems to run ok, and can't wait to get home to give it a try....

 

I shall mainly be using it to spook my stepson, by changing everything whilst he's out so when he gets in, it's all a bit weird!!!

I've been having a play with it over the weekend, I made the mistake of letting my friend set it up while I was doing something on the computer, he turned on Allow Interruption and synced his phone too. It lets him cancel out whatever I'm doing to play music / videos. Was rather disturbed when my game of CoD was cut short and Rick Astley started playing.

 

I sense much mischief in my household with 3 Xboxes and this app.

Saw SMARTGLASS at E3 and it looks awesome. From what i remember you can use iPhones and iPads with it as well. Can't wait to use my iphone as a mouse to browse IE on xbox.

win 8 app works well on my laptop so can use it as a map screen while playing forza horizons

It's pretty epic on my iPad to be fair... Can control the whole of Netflix without having to move from my bed!

Im not so taken with it, Ive installed it and had a little play. To me it seems more of a novelty.

Don't bother trying to use it with Halo 4 under Android or WP7, the useless dropkicks only support it under W8 and iOS, way to go Microsoft, care to burn anymore bridges and market share while you're at it. Maybe a free terminal illness with every purchase.
