gbchapman Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Hello, I am an American doing most of the tech coordination without the title, at an International School in Kazakhstan. I translate geek to English so the office manager can translate it to Russian for the techs. Most of the times the techs and I understand each other. A two language repair request log book is always a fun. My first computer was a membrane keyboard Timex Sinclair with a tape drive, I once bragged about having dual 5.25" floppy drives on my PC. I wrote a school registrar database on an Apple IIe, . . . you get the picture of how deep the geek goes in me. Of course being an American who plays and loves football (soccer) I was already seen as a geek by my neckless classmates growing up anyway. Glenn I am from Minnesota quite near the birthplace of Spam and the Spam Museum!

Tsilver Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) Hello. Name is Tony, I am the District Technology Director/Coordinator for a small school district. Recently built a new school and now I have too much fun stuff/equipment to be responsible for. Stumbled upon this forum in one of my many, many google queries to try and find some info to fix something and I have been referring back ever since. Finally decided to contribute a little and I needed to make my introduction to post some links... so Here I am Edited February 19, 2010 by Tsilver
