X-13 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 That is looks incredibly sexy. So basically, this is the iPhone/iPad/[Apple product] of coffee cups? It does exactly the same as other ones, but looks cooler.

Smartcafe Cafetiere Hot Mug,Graphite (Grey): Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home I knew I'd seen something this before.. when I saw the ks one I thought I'd seen it before. Then got distracted by its shinyness. @plexer: Seems thats what the difference is i.e. better filter and shiny. Looks like international shipping is now included in the $50 one now.

To be honest I think they've screwed up if you look at all the reward levels the new $50 makes the most sense for canada or international. Ben

Ben Yeah I thought that, why on Earth would you go for the identical $45/$40 pledge then pay $10 - $30 P&P?! I put my pledge in, my first in fact Edited October 8, 2012 by LosOjos
AMLinington Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 That is awesome! I love the simplicity of it. It looks quite durable as well - the filter is metal not easily-torn mesh. I can't say I drink coffee enough to justify that sort of investment, but it's still a great idea. LF investors for my safety-network-cable project ;-P
apeo Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Now who do I know loves coffee.. Christmas prezzy sorted
LosOjos Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Now who do I know loves coffee.. Christmas prezzy sorted so long as they don't mind waiting until April for it!

LosOjos Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 So - who has theirs then? I got mine on Tuesday, went out and bought some coffee last night (Starbucks Medium Colombian if anyone's interested - not great but my local Tesco didn't have much choice!) and am happily supping from it today I love it but I am a little concerned about the fragility of it, it seems that you could quite easily damage the innards. In fact, I've already grazed the finish around the rim just by having it in my bag and there's nothing sharp/hard in there

plexer Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Got mine earlier this week too and tried to upload a picky but attachments don't seem to be working. Let's try a link to my blog instead: Ben
LosOjos Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Here's mine, taken the other day: Time to go refill her
Greenbeast Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 wonder when/where they'll be available to the public. looks good
plexer Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 One of the good things I find is that they are nice and bottom heavy so stable on the desk although you can't always work out if you've got coffee left without having a peak inside Ben
Rawns Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 It "looks" big, but how big is it? I always have a half-pint mug for my tea/coffee.
