I can't recommend this place enough! It is a great place to work...and the ambulance in the building just tops it off! :D

Is there any particular reason for not recommending this place. I mean why did you make this comment that "I can't recommend this place enough!"

The only disadvantage I think is the location if you travel by train. Apart from that its an excellent place Dulwich. I've worked in a high school in Dulwich and found it difficult to get there by train but by car should not be a problem at all. Edited by lazkopat

This might be a silly question but has this position been filled? If not, would this role be suited for someone who's thinking of changing career?

I would say it is a role for someone that is well versed and experienced with IT. Reason being, a lot of equipment, and whilst very organised, it is a lot for an inexperienced person to take on. It took me the better part of the day just for the tour of the equipment used!

Thanks dude - Makes sense.

I assume having completed the following two exams (Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment) & (Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional) wouldn't help either as I dont have the relevant experience?

What would you suggest/recommend I focus on to get into IT?

Personally I say start as a technician on a volunteer basis, or go in as a junior tech to build up skills, you can go around your schedule, ask to learn more from them. Build up your experience and go up from there. We all start somewhere.
