Senior IT Manager- Central London- £60k

Large independent schools group based around Central London requires an excellent hands on Senior IT Manager with extensive management and IT infrastructure experience to lead a large and diverse technical team. They must not only be capable of leading a team of skilled IT support staff but also lead on strategic implementation, direct VLE development and support backend server and core network infrastructure. Develop and manage the core IT network/strategy in line with the schools plan for teaching and learning. Candidates will need to have previous education ICT management experience, likely to be degree educated (or similar), have industry recognised IT qualifications (Prince2, MCSE, MCP, ITIL, FITS etc), technical knowledge of MS Windows Server 2008 R2, Hyper-V or VMware, SAN, SQL, Unix, Fibre, Windows XP and 7 is essential. Desirable knowledge of SharePoint 2010/ office 365 and Audio Visual technology including Interactive Whiteboards, Visualizers etc.
