ID Manager & BioStore - Fingerprint readers

I was wondering if anyone can give any advise on this topic.

We have a cashless system in place here with cunninghams and we are using BioStore and IDmanager. Now the problem comes when our finance team try to use the scanner. We don't allow users to be part of the local administrators group but this is giving problems with the fingerprint reader and ID Manager.

I have been told to allow said user full access to the BioStore Solutions folder on the C drive but this doesnt work either. The only way i can get this to work is if i add said user into the local administrators group on the machine.

Does anyone have this system in place and have they managed to get round this problem? I have even given said user full access to the system32 folder but this was on a test machine rather than the live machine.

Thanks

If anyone has this problem, you need to contact biostore for the most update installer for the uareu fingerprint reader. Cunninghams support were no help at all however biostore spent and hour on the phone with me, credit to biostore on this one. The installer you need is dated 18 july 2012.

Hope it helps someone.

I've contacted Cunninghams, AIT and Biostore about this and none can provide a working set of drivers. I've quoted them this post stating that we need the drivers dated the 18th July 2012 but all they sent me were ones dates for 2010.

Can anyone post these to me at all?

Cheers,

Simon.

I've just been through this as well. The U and U drivers have to be the latest one but that was not the fix for me it was the latest version of ID manager I have both on my work PC if you need them
