Hi all,

I have a laptop with Microsoft Steadystate installed and I am wondering if it the cause of my low battery, i know from windows vista upwards you have a choice on power plans, but my battery is not lasting more than 30 minutes, so i was wondering has this software caused problems with the battery?

since does the power optiones only affect the hardware in the windows envrioment or does it change on the hardware level?

here's a screenshot from the software "BatteryInfoView" BatteryInfoView - View battery information on laptops / netbooks

Am i reading the screenshot right saying it only worn 7.9% of 100% so there still 92.1% good or it 7.9% good and 92.1% bad?

i notice it also dont give me the time how long to chage till 100% or till 0% to run out

I be looking forward to what people come up with thanks
