RJcreatives Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Hi Guys, new problem. We have Kaspersky security 8 across the school computers, however the antivirus has added ImperoClient and Impero Winlogon Application to the 'Untrusted' list. How can I move them to the Trusted list? Thanks
januttall Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 ask kaspersky there support is brilliant. or wait till i get home i dont have a copy on me in the office. but i will be happy to help
RJcreatives Posted September 5, 2012 Author Posted September 5, 2012 I have contacted their support and I am awaiting a reply. If I have not updated this thread with a solution, then I probably need help Thanks
russdev Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Hello Got this on there site (Trusted Zone: how to create exclusion rules) However if having issues then contact Support desk at Impero and we can remote in and take a look and see if we can help you. Russ
RJcreatives Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Ive added Impero to the exclusion and also added the files to the trusted zone, but when I open Impero, it still cannot communicate to any more computers than it could previously. Kaspersky is still pushing out the policy to computers (complete on 213, pending on 305) do I have to wait until it is completed before it takes effect?
RJcreatives Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Ok, new update, Kaspersky has correctly moved Impero to the Trusted list however, Impero is still not detecting most computers. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks If on a machine that got the issue if you uninstall and reinstall Impero as if Kaspersky had picked us up as a false positive then might of corrupted the installation. Russ
Sean Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 If on a machine that got the issue if you uninstall and reinstall Impero as if Kaspersky had picked us up as a false positive then might of corrupted the installation. Russ Any more news on this? We are having similar issues here, if we leave Impero in palce and uninstall Kaspersky thne Impero suddenly starts working so it doesn't look like Kaspersky is actually damaging Impero or delting any of its files...
RJcreatives Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 On our end we tried entirely removing Impero using the SC delete command and then reinstalling it, but still no luck. Later today I am going to call Kaspersky.

jamiet1985 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Hi Guys, following what Sean said, we have taken Kaspersky 8 off in the IT rooms and put Kaspersky 6 back on temporarily with the new license key untill there is a solution which works fine again. Has anyone got any further with Kaspersky 8? Thanks Jamie
