that is very offputting to me the amount of dailies, like blizz would say, you dont have to do them, but to me their "easy content", my friend is finally back of honeymoon now which is good and hes enjoying the first few zones, I am interested to see how he would enjoy townlong steppes and dread wastes, I started losing the will to live in dread wastes, because it was basically, go kill this amount of insect men, wake a paragon, kill another 800 insects, then kill some Sha demons and go release another paragon, rinse and repeat what basically started in townlong with the mantid creatures, I know questing isnt going to be changing that much as its a core to the game, but at least in the earlier areas they tried to make it a bit more fun by doing things like the "shokia" chain with the hozen where you could be a sniper and so on, after kun-lai I felt it got very linear to level, dont know about anyone else.

That being said I am enjoying my orc hunter again now, cant wait to level it up now im off outland and on Frostwhisper horde with it.

I lost loads of time to XCOM but now that has broken me (Cryssalids...grrrrr!!!) I will have to catch up again!

Not looking forwards to more dailies though. They kill the fun pretty fast once you've been through them all.

I think dalies are the main reason I have so many alts :)

I just have lots of alts.

My name is Dani... and I'm an altoholic.

Noticed the long XCOM hours on steam. Cryssalids took 2 of my colonels one mission. Wasn't a happy bunny :(

Aaaaanyway, back to WoW. FINALLY got my JC to 600 last night, 5k later, so now 40 points to max mining then back to dailies!

I've always been a bit of an alt-oholic. I've got another 4 characters on this server waiting in the wings :)

The "cure" for altoholicism used to be City of Heroes, even though that's the equivalent of locking alcoholics in a pub.

Loving the new patch, once you get revered with a faction you can buy a commendation for around 20 gold that increases rep gain account wide.

and ill just leave this here..

I've signed in twice since 5.1 hit and each time I've only managed to move a few feet before going and playing something else.

Hopefully I'll be able to get into it this weekend.

Anyone play on Azjol Nerub want to scroll of Res me? Have chars on both horde and alliance...

I'm Az-nub, I could SoR you.

I've been enjoying the fact that you earn VP for quests so you can get into the raid groups. Yeah the dailies are kinda tedious (well, a lot tedious) but that little 'Grand commendation' reward at 'Revered' makes it worth it. I've been rep grinding on my main toon to make it easier for all the rest of my toons to get the decent patterns etc. I have so many alts with all the available professions that I want to be able to access pretty much every faction at exalted so it's worth it to me. I'm also enjoying the Raid finder. Yeah it's full of people that don't do what they should, but its a lot better than standing in Dalaran with raid leaders dissing your achievements so you can never get a raid.

Nice one thanks - I've PM'd you.

I need to read up on changes - been about a year since i last played..!

You'll probably need to migrate your account to a Battle.net account. You should be able to do this without having active game time.

So far, I have levelled a druid/Warrior/Hunter and a DK to 90, couldnt face doing any dailies, so spend my time at the moment soloing old content to get my character classic gear, I have no incentive to raid it seems, managed to get my Tauren warrior the AQ40 set the other day and hes looking pimp now in his old school gear

Maybe I will raid some, but with 8 weeks to go until Junior arrives, my wife has somewhat different ideas to me playing WoW :)

I've been getting back into it, but dailies keep turning me off from playing my main. I have enough willpower to do one faction a day before I get bored, and that usually ends up being the Tillers for the farm.

I did make my panda yesterday though on Steamwheedle with a friend. It's a funny sight seeing two female pandaren swinging side to side looking bored as Garrosh yells at them. :D

I made a shaman alt this weekend, pimped it up in hairlooms and level 45 after a couple of days.

My last alt had a couple of hairloom's and i didn't notice that much difference, but with a full set, wow, one set of quests and a dungeon or 2 and i'm being sent to the next zone. I expect it will slow down from here though.

Yet still cant find the motivation to level up my priest the last 2 levels, leveling healers is a pain!

i know that feeling, have my rogue on 86 here and cant face playing that content again at the moment, its a flat game I feel, you ding and nothing then, my guilds not active though in all honesty so I think being the only one online and most other people being offline or on a faction I no longer have chars on gives me very little incentive to do much in the game.

I've been off WoW since the little one turned up late summer ... keep thinking I'll get time to get back into it but it never happens. Subscription now lapsed, haven't purchased Mists yet ... heck, I haven't even upgraded to FM2013!!!

Save me ... someone save me!

I just cancelled my subscription to the game, have 2 days left on my account as it wont renew automatically now.

Feels absolutely great too, like I have gotten a monkey off my back, I have subscribed to that game now since vanilla (joining halfway through) realised the last week that I just dont have any enjoyment in playing the game now, I have bottomed out and broken my addiction to World of Warcrack, plenty to focus on going forward, which is great.
