Firefox rocks!!

I'm breaking the trend, used chrome but now back on firefox. Chrome kept erroring out on google searches on multiple machines for some reason.

I always set up Chrome to use inside school - using the normal PC proxy setup - and then use Firefox from home with its own network set up with no proxy

 

I tell the teachers with a laptop to do the same - it saves having teacher going in and changing proxy setting!

 

On my personal laptop I use Chrome and Firefox interchangeably - dunno why

I just use a PAC file and set IE to use it by GPO. No need to swap browsers and the settings seem to get picked up by other browsers for those that insist on handing all their details to Google using a "faster" browser or have other browser preferences.

Sorry, that's what I was asking. Would the Edugeek app show up as Android browser or something else.

 

The android app doesnt show up in our Piwik logs right now, for those stats we need to use Google analytics/Tapatalk admin area.

...and another. Firefox on my 3 "work" machines and my home rig/laptop (left my HTPC with IE as I rarely use it for browsing - though I've experimented with Kylo Browser). Most of the school machines have IE and Chrome, but if I have to use a school machine those I'll go with IE unless it's having a problem with the site or I'm testing an alleged problem with Chrome.

Strange that there seems to be more users of NT than Vista, purely from an age of OS perspective rather than quality of OS.

I should add that we have had 390,098 Windows 10 visits since it's launch at the end of July but won't make a dent on the graph for a few months yet as it needs to be cumulative.

The stats are taken from Google Analytics and I suspect that in some cases that it could be detecting systems as NT when they are much more recent Microsoft OS's. Vista really does (stat-wise) seem to be a flash in the pan which peaked at 856,532 vistits over the 2010-2011 period before dropping to 550k over the next 12 months and 124k in the past 12 months.

Windows 7 in it's first 12 months (2009-2010) had over 2.5 times more visits than Vista!

Could be combined in with NT but I'm sure no one here would browse the internet from one of their servers, even to a site as trusted as Edugeek.

The only one listed is Server 2003 with 58k visits over the past 12 months so I too suspect that newer Windows Server OS's are covered under the catch-all of 'NT'.

I wont to know who the 51 vists from a 3DS are from, although I think it could be @X-13

This really messed with my head for a second. I didn't see the original post date and was thinking to myself why the hell are so many people still using FF/IE and why is chrome not even mentioned. Wasn't until I read down further that I noticed the date on it.

 

Firefox has been my main browser since I switched to it years ago... I just find it far nicer than Chrome, with more plugins that I use a lot... I usually have Chrome open too, but just with additional accounts open for things usually, or to double check things...

How do you mean? These graphs are in date order and all I do is add this years stats to the previous ones so they are always up to date.

As regards ChromeOS, it has had just under 17k visits over the past 12 months BTW!
