Purchasing a Server for SCCM 2012

Hello All,

 

I am currently looking into purchasing a server (yes we are still all physical at the moment) for SCCM 2012, does anyone have any suggestions on what to get and what to keep an eye on so it will run smoothly.

However I would advise chucking more RAM at it than the minimum.

My SCCM 2007 server has 6GB and it comfortably runs SCCM and Sophos for about 150 devices.

Ah perfect,

 

I was thinknig some of the specs look, well, a little low for something as powerful as SCCM, time to gets some quotes together.
