Still only good for 13 amps overall its worrying how big these are getting given people don't check how much or what they are plugging in at times!

It's not that bad, we've got a PDU at work with about 12x 13a sockets on them, it's limited to 10a though because it has an IEC connector on the trailing lead.

 

It's not really an issue though. If you plug 10 toasters in then it will blow the fuse before anything dangerous happens.

Which is Ohms law but I would hope you all know that

 

So for 700 Watt appliance 700/230 = 3.04

 

So you use a three amp fuse

 

(I hope thats right - In my defence im on my second bottle of wine!)
