IE GP Settings Breakdown

I need to setup a policy for some IE users that will be using a DB via IE and have been supplied the relevant IE settings that need changing. Active X, Security settings etc. Does anyone know of a site that has a breakdown of [ for example ] Security --> Trusted Sites --> Sites / Custom Level --> selecting relevant Active X settings and then where to locate these in the policy template ? At the moment I'm going around in circles.

Been a while since I did anything with those settings - but don't you configure up a station the way your want and then import the settings into your GPO .... I could be wrong of course.
