john Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 and all those calling the new interface Metro better stop given the legal challenge being brought in from Metro AG (well suspected from them) so its the "Windows 8 style UI" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19108952 I expect I will give it a go on a machine or two at work out of curiosity but certainly not expecting to rush to it over Windows 7 which is working very very well for us
SYNACK Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Greif, our users will get complacent if we leave them on one OS for too long, they'll decide that they have laernt everything and shutdown. We've already been running 7 for years but even with these concerns 8 is still only likely to see the light of day, at least in the short term on tablets.
