I am currently setting up some machines that will sit in our reception area, hence they need to be very secure. I have accidently changed the control panel security settings against the PC rather than the user, and now I am locked out of control panel on all user accounts. Is there anyway I can sort this?

Are these machines on the network or standalone?

If they are on the network could you create a GPO that overrides the local Control Panel setting you have just set?

How about Safe Mode? If you start in Safe Mode can you make any changes to reverse the change that locked you out?

Have you tried God Mode? [Assuming Windows 7 or Vista here]

Any combination of the above that might help?
