We are having huge issues with IEP3 since I upgraded to Server 2008R2.

I am constantly getting floating point overflow messages when trying to print - that seems to be an issue with HP2600n but I cannot see how to sort it. IEP writer is still run from the old 2003 server so the only change is that the printers are now running from the new one.

So....the SEN people need a method of writing IEPs that is simple, cheap and easy to get running.

Please can I have any ideas for good software?

thanks

Why are you running it from the server and not locally?

You can then update the ini file containing all paths and deploy using GPP.

For example it defaults to C:\IEPv3\Students (from memory), but you can update this to H:\Students.

Hi Witch i have had the same issue the only way i could sort quickly was to change the printer. This the floating point issue has popped up for progress towards the profile aswell.

With regards to the printing issue, try creating a local printer port pointing to your printer share:

\\SERVERNAME\Printer sharename then install the drivers accordingly.

@Michael has sorted me out a good workaround and I am very grateful. He suggested printing to a pdf and then printing that. And it worked!!

A nice note to end my term on :)
