HP 2600n Floating Point overflow error

IEP Writer 3 runs off the server here. I have recently had a new server, 2008R2 but in order to avoid upsetting any software which happily runs off the old server, I left IEP and other server-based programs behind, running off the old 2003 server, now demoted of course.

All seems well until staff tried to print an IEP

Along comes a 'floating point overflow' error.

Can anyone shed light on this or what I can do about it?

 

I have googled it and it seems to be an HP issue with old programs - but installing locally is not an option for me.

What I dont understand is that nothing has changed -the printer is the same, the program is the same and in the same location as it was before

This is still an issue - we thought that saving in another format would work but it only gives the review sheet.

I have been told today that the same thing is happening with Testbase

 

Can anyone shed any light - I'm beginning to get dirty looks and I can see their point - everything was fine before!

Not sure where you printer is installed but all hp 2600n and 1320 printers are installed on a 2003 server here because the drivers just wont play on 2008.

Have you tried the hp universal driver?

The drivers are on my new 2008R2 server - maybe that is the issue

We are using the universal driver
