[sims] Changing font sizes for printing in SIMS FMS

Hi All,

 

We have just changed over to SIMS FMS (from the old dos based FMS system) and just as we did so our rather old Epson died. I have managed to fiddle most things to work on the finance laser jet but cannot get the cheque printing right on our new OKI dot matrix.

The issue appears to be around font sizeing and the pages are running over onto the next check. Does anyone know how to adjust the font sizes within FMS because if I alter them manually on the printer they are just reset by FMS when it prints.

I can't help on the tech question but have you considered using BACS it saves huge amounts of time, transaction charges are cheaper and there's no need for cheques.

Thanks for the resposne, yes we are looking at this but business manager/bursers being what they are don't want to waste a box of pre-printed checks.
