Oaktech Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) provided you aren't heavy handed the toshiba from PC world... TOSHIBA Satellite L750D-14R 15.6" Laptop - Red at cheap prices | Pcworld hopefully i3 is not an absolute... Edited June 14, 2012 by Oaktech
TheCrazyTechnician Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I've just bought a HP Pavilion G6 for the head teacher. £310 ex VAT Core i3 processor 6gb RAM 500Gb Hard disk only 1 year warranty but you can probably push that upto 3 year per laptop and still come in under or on your £350 budget.
Chris-W- Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Is the i3 a must? For student laptops we've just got a batch of these Stone Laptops. Running a core2duo isn't the quickest I know, but for general use they're decent machines, with TPM as standard and Stone's 3,4 or 5 year warranty.
rush_tech Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 sorry I missed out there function, they are for the staff so they need to be a little sturdy, running things like SIMS, office apps, whiteboard software. I think i3 is the minimum that we need to go for.
