elsiegee40 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 In the last couple of weeks, I've started to get BSOD on my XP machine when using Chrome. All the drivers are up to date and none have changed recently. Has anyone else had this problem? (Says she reverting to firefox)
Arthur Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Which release channel are you on (Stable, Beta, Dev, Canary)? Do you get the blue screens if you start Chrome in incognito mode? Have you changed any of the GPU-related settings in about:flags? What error code is on the BSoD and does it mention a specific driver (BlueScreenView may help)? 1
Sandman Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 My first port of call with BSODs is to re-install the software and then if that does not work swap out the RAM. Have you done both? 1
cpjitservices Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 try SRWare Iron... It's the same as chrome but isnt made by Google... we use it here now rather than chrome and Google dont have anything to do with it! I'd try that and see if it does the same thing! 1
