Random name selector software

Hi

 

I am looking for some funky software that you can enter lots of students names into it.. gives a nice visual of names swirling around and when you press enter it selects a name at random ..

 

Bit like lotto but with names on a PC ..

 

Its so we can use it in assembley for prizes...

 

Any ideas..

Somewhere I have a VBA program that I wrote for Excel. Goes up and down a list of names and then chooses one randomly - or at least that's what the little one's thought! Fixed it so that it didn't choose the same name twice. I can dig it out if anyone is interested.

Import a list from excel and select fruit machine or typewriter. Random names!

Assign each name a number and then use RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service ?
