WANTED: Any android phone!

My son has a Blackberry on 3 and it is driving him mad. He absolutely hates it is desperate to change. But he is nowhere near the point in his contract where he can upgrade so he is looking for a cheap android of some sort that he can use instead. He is at Uni and has no money other than what I give him, so when I say cheap......

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

To be honest I know how he feels, I was provided with a Blackberry from work and even though it was one of the new ones I hated it also.

 

I went to carphone warehouse and they gave me £93 for my blackberry, so I brought a Nokia Lumia 710 for £130 and it cost me a wopping £37.00 in total.. well worth it!

Anyhow, I understand the Blackberry hate, they were designed for Corp and never really got too far away from that expecially with their UI and dev choices.

I had one of the first WP7.5 Handsets out and loved it, stuck with my iPhone for a wee while until that contract ended.. and then work gave me a Blackberry so decided to go back to my Windows Phone :-)
