I'm having a brain fade or something?

I setup a folder and shared it.

share name and shared perms for everyone full control. I've added the user to the ACL Full control. It keeps saying authentication unsuccessful. There are no Denys in the ACL. His account is not locked?

I can access the share using my admin password.

What am I missing?

What are the permissions on the folder itself (not the share)?

Share perms will allow access to the share, but if the user/group is not on the access list for the folder's security, then they'll be denied access.

Yes, the user has been added the the access control list. I've seen a message in the event log about a DCOM error and unavailable Kerberos auth. I think the client is sickly.
