I was pulling into my road and stopped to let a Virgin van out. Knowing that when you see one of these things it means either someone is having it installed or they are 'fixing' an issue in the street [ which then means they muck up something else ] I checked my connection....... 10 meg down to 1. Nice one you dumb Engineer pillock.

Have given up being on hold so will call them tomorrow and go through the normal cancel my account I do with them a few times a year.

A lot of the Virgin engineers aren't employed by Virgin, they are subcontractors.

Actually, I know a couple of virgin media sub contractors, they are untrained, uneducated and in my mates case clumsy as hell! I wouldn't let him near a plug let alone the box at the end of my road! And he's a good mate, I'm not making this worse for effect, he really is that bad!

 

In his last job he drove off without shutting the van doors and his boss' Stilh saw bounced down the road!
