attached is the spacemonger display of the 6.7GB windows folder on that server - which of those folders can be safely deleted? (size in the graphic indicates size on the disk)

(and it wasn't me that decided to have Windows and data on the same partition....)

why delete, virtualize and make the partition bigger ( extend).

plus couldnt really see your image , not got my glasses on

This server's being retired in the next couple of weeks - I just need it to hang on until its replacement arrives!

loose the kb files (blue, in windir) service pack folder and ie8 updates. delete the KB last as you'll no longer be able to roll back a hotfix with those files gone.

+ when saving graphics images use PNG not JPG ;)

They're gone :)

That won't help this drive much but will on some of the others that we're moving to the new server :)

Delete that massive userdump in pchealth folder.

Gone :)

*Right that's 1.99GB free... That'll do donkey, that'll do*:) [/shrek_mode]

I will now there's space to reinstall it*

Also a move to version 10 is worth it, I have found that Windows 7 deployment issues have gone... but going off topic now :p
