I am having problem while doing remote desktop RM CC3 Domain Controller CTS-SR-001 ( Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition ). I can not remote (RDP) anymore but when I log on to the Server locally I get the following error

Windows cannot load the users profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system

DETAIL - Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service

All users can still login whose profiles are on the server but get the same message every time they login

Windows cannot load the users profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system

Share drive ( W ) is almost full. I think all other drives are near full too ( profile & work ). This can be one of the reason????

I will check the drives and update.

Help required please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This sounds like the same problem we have with one of our servers...

Try logon to a workstation using systemadin and open up services - use this to remotely connect to the your server (cts-sr-001) and stop the RMC3IEngine service.

If it don't stop you will need to add the registry fragment to allow it to stop.

Once stopped see if you can log onto the server (locally or RDP) if you can start the service again.

If that fails you will have to do a remote restart of the server. (failing that its the good old power button  )

Basically what seems to happen is the virtual memory gets filled up by this service but RM refuse to admit that this happens...

Had this happening on my CC3 server for ages, it would happen when the server was under load. Thankfully dumped CC3 (starting to regret it on the laptop side of things) for CC4. Neither myself or RM were able to fix the issue, increasing the pagefile resulted in no change.

Only thing I can think that's caused it is an RM Windows Update that's just corrupt something

This doesn't sound specifically like an RM issue to me, but more so that your server has run out of disk space.

You could try moving some none critical files/folders/MSIs to an external hard drive or NAS and see if this temporarily brings things back online.
