Hi Guys/Girls

 

Im looking for some help/advise on doing a cover letter, im strugling to think of what to put in it and when to put the info in. i start one and then i think its rubbish and bin it. ive been working in ICT for 5-6 years and have a C.V setup with the kind help of Witch (thanks Witch) but im wanting to move from my current position so i need a cover letter to put in the info that my C.V doesnet have. Any help welcome!!!!

No, you DON'T need one for this purpose!!

If there is info not in your CV then it should be there (I can only work with what I am given!)

A cover letter is SPECIFIC to a particular job application and its function is to highlight the areas of expertise that you have that match up with their particular requirements.

A general cover letter is not much use TBH.

Thanks for clarifying that, ill stick with the C.V. after ive updated it with a couple of new things that i have recently learned.
