I am trying to add a fog storage node, but have hit a problem.

I am getting an error as follows:

setting up fog userinstallfog.sh: 296: bad substitution

Any ideas as to how to fix this.

I already have a storage node installed but this has run out of storage space, so I need to add a new one.

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 for the fog systems.

No ideas?

I have tried using Ubuntu 9.04 & 9.10, but get errors that apache 2 cannot be found. Just updating to 10.04LTS & see what happens then.

I find it strange that the first storage node worked fine, but this one will not do it. After this I might try installing fog storage node before any OS updates on 11.10

If anyone has any idseas I would be pleased to hear them.

I'm not sure what your issue could be - but I do have a question. Why do you need more storage nodes, rather than adding storage space to your existing node?

Yes, well there lies the problem. I added more storage to the first storage node & since that I cannot access the machine, although it still works. That is why I am adding a second node.
