How do you manage and control Aps on your Mobile Devices?

Hi,

 

Whilst at InfoSec yesterday we saw an enterprise application where Tablets and mobile devices could be registered and policies created which enables administrators to control what apps can be downloaded and used on these devices. We currently do not have tablets used in house but it is something that is being discussed. I was wondering how organizations that already have them, secure, monitor and track those devices?
