Moving & mapping user areas on new server/domain

I'm going to upgrading our old network to a brand new one over summer.

 

Users currently have stupid usernames & no ad structure

 

How can I create these users on my new sever on the new domain with a new username, and easily port across their documents an map them somehow to the right user? I have a feeling it's not possible, and do the 60 odd staff manually

As you say, unfortunately I think the only way is manually. The alternative would be to leave existing pupils on the old format, then create new pupils in your format.
