MacBooks unable to login with ad credentials

Hi,

 

Have returned to work to find that our suite of MacBooks can no longer login with network usernames.

 

At first look, they are connected to both macserver for preferences and windows 2003 server for login credentials. both have green lights and saying connected.

 

Before the holiday everything was working fine, mac server mapping drives and preferences based on logged in ad user.

 

What else to check?

Check the time!

Yes check that the macs time and your servers are all syncronised, kerberos is a time ticketed authentication protocol. First thing I would look at after network connection issues.

Time is okay, and for some reason everything is working okay again, don't you just love it?
