Anybody come a cross (or recommend) a company providing on site moodle support (well mostly remotely but I mean supporting a server on our site).

I've discussed this with LUNS and it's not something they are keen to offer. We have moodle 1.9 on site at the moment but it's kept shielded from the internet, students access it off site by remote desktop.

We'd like to go to 2.x version of Moodle with SIMS integration using ZiLink. This would be a direct replacement for an underused SLG. The savings there would go towards a service contract for moodle where a third party would be responsible for keeping it patched and providing moodle expertise when needed. Moodle would then have direct access to the internet and students won't need to RDP into school to use it.

Anybody out there doing something similar, pros cons? Feel free to pm me company contact info and the likes.

Thanks

David.

Well the webanywhere offering will meet our needs, we'll see how the quote comes out.

As will the SchoolsICT offering.
