glennda Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 It's not letting me open that file... what security permissions are set on it? if you can't open it, it could possibly be that PHPmyadmin can't read it either. take a look online and see if there is some documentation as to the correct permissions - I presume something like read/write for www-data (if its the same on windows as linux)

Ive opened it with wordpad & seen the password bit empty do I've input it & saved but it's not made a difference. Would uninstalling it all make a difference?

fs7 Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Tried what you've said, tried uninstalling & deleting all the files & then reinstalling... Still no joy
glennda Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 When I'm home i'll boot my vm and install XAMPP and have a play - I'm not 100% sure how its works - out of interest what OS did you install on? Win 7? XP? T
fs7 Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 When I first installed it was all fine, it's when I got to the bit in the guide where it says go on localhost/xibo & that's where all the problems started
