Why do Senior leader in schools provide such poor leadership when it come to recycling and sustainability. They don't separate out their waste they don't cycle to school or use public transport.

Maybe they prefer to know that they're going to arrive at school on time with their half-a-hundredweight of paperwork dry and intact.

You can arrive at work with paper dry also what about the paper less office!! Also may be if they adopted a different dress code in the school it would be easier to be active on the way to school. I would assume that senior leader can afford to live with in cycling/walking/public transport distance of school.

But why should they have to? Why would you assume they will not only agree with your point of view, but also have their lives guided by it? So they move house to be close to the school, perhaps that means other people in their household have to travel to their jobs instead.

What about it? It was a myth in the 80s, 90s and noughties. It's still a myth. And if you've got 60 exercise books to carry, do you really want to put them on the bus or the back of a bike?

What do you suggest? Cycling shorts and anoraks to be the Green look du jour?

Maybe they don't want to. Maybe they like the house they live in.

What you're doing here is taking a particular political ideology and applying it to people and wondering why they don't want to comply with it.
