JohnnyR1Red Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Does anyone know if it is possible to change the default save location for this product for all users? I know there is the configuration tool where you can alter the save location but that only works for the user you are logged in as at the time. I need it to be able to saved to each user's home folder. Thankls
Steve21 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Change the start-in variable on the shortcut you're deploying. e.g. That's how I did ours when it was deployed. Thanks, Steve 1
JJonas Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 also anybody know how to make it run on Linux? ive tried Wine and its not happening.
Guest Guest Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 There is no way it'd run on Linux, it needs Microsofts XNA Framework for Graphics, and DirectX and the C++ runtime, and not all of them have been re-enginered by the Wine project.

Thanks, Steve Hi Steve, I have tried this and it makes no difference at all, it is still saving on the C: drive. The only way I can get it to save on the network is to manually change the path but as I said this only works for the user you are logged in as. There must be a file you can edit somewhere to overide the settings so it works for all users John

Is it saving for you in C:\users\"username"\documents\savedgames\boku etc? If so it shouldn't with redirected afaik. Steve

Koldov Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Necro job on this thread to ask if anybody ever found the answer...? It must have been solved nearly 7 years later... Right?!
