Concurrent Logins Server 2008 R2 AD

We are currently in the planning stage of implementing a VDI. Obviously we want to get our licensing properly sorted so one of the thing we are looking to monitor the Concurrent Logins in our domain.

 

Does anyone know of a tool/utility that can be installed to do this, or perhaps it is already available within Server 2008 R2?

There's nothing built in to 2008 R2, although Microsoft did release a tool called LimitLogon.

 

I'm not sure if it works in 2008 R2 however.

LimitLogon doesnt work with R2.

 

This will do it - UserLock® Access security and concurrent login control for networks

 

There is also a script on here to do it.
