cpjitservices Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Good morning all! Has anybody got oVirt working ? I have got my server up & running on Fedora which is all well and good, now I'm trying to get oVirt Node working on a machine and I get "Installation Successful" then the machine reboots but says "Operating System not found!". Thanks in Advance !

Thanks in Advance ! Not used Ovirt yet - but have you checked the boot records? I assume Fedora uses grub? 1
cpjitservices Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Can't check the records but good idea!!! Cant check the bot reords as the OS for some reason dosnt install to the hard drive, 2 ISO's and 2 new blank cdr's later still no luck!!
glennda Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Check what is appearing as the default device is - most installers just choose the default - I did that once as i had a memory stick plugged in and it was installing to that instead of the HDD's - took me ages to work out
quaid Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 You should be able to find the answers you need on the oVirt users list: lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/users
CyberNerd Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I've just been mucking about with this. Not encountered you specific error. I found recent builds and install instruction for Centos 6.2 here if others are interested in doing this: Index of /ovirt 1
