Is there such a cable or bit of hardware that will let me have one one device, eg sky box, and plugged in to 2 TVs. I often change which TV im watching on depending on what else is on and am getting fed up of unplugging the HDMI cable between the 2 TVs. If I could have it plugged in to both at the same time it would save me a lot of hassel.

Does such a thing exist?

Powered HDMI splitters will do the trick. Don't buy these basic HDMI splitters (without power) as they don't work!

I think you can buy dual, quad and octo splitters these days.

Ive only got the 2 TVs in my room for now so the doubler will need to do :)

(Ive not got it plugged in but its still working ok, I guess power is only needed for bigger distances? both mine are 0.5m cables)

For the record, we have 2 HDMI tvs in the sales office driven off one PC with a powered splitter, which feeds into 2 HDMI->CAT5 adaptors - note CAT5 - not IP... couldn't get IP convertors I was sure would work and at a decent price. I believe it needs 2 bits of cat5, but the quality seems fine.
