I was involved with the 'millenium bug stuff' and if all that work had not been done a lot of things would have gone wrong!

It's like IT in general. You do all the work and everything works, so people think that you are doing nothing. They only appriciate you when it goes wrong and then they ask you why you didnt sort it before!

 

I think this was the point I was making... but, I'm not actually sure.

 

This type of event would have been planned for and everything prepared against it.

 

 

But, everyone not involved goes crazy as it's done behind the scenes.

The enormous sunspot region responsible for all the recent fuss and flares was easily visible from Earth yesterday… easily visible, that is, with the help of a natural filter provided by a New Mexico dust storm!
