enjay Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Any recommendations for ergonomic mice? Needs to be left-handed, by the way. One of the teachers here is suffering what their doctor thinks is mouse-related RSI...
sonofsanta Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 It looks horrible (designed for teenage gamers) and will probably be expensive but it's the most customisable mouse I've heard of - look for Cyborg R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse Other gaming mice will be adjustable as well if not to the same extent. 1
enjay Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Wow, that's an ugly mouse! Looks like a Transformer :-)
difinity Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 look at vertical mice, there is no twisting of the wrist to use these. 1

shenley Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 I've been using the Logitech Marble Mouse for years and it stopped my achey wrist. I'm right handed but I use it with the left; this is what the doctor told me to do. Your dominant hand gets overworked and if you use the non-dominant hand, it gives the other one a rest. It feels a bit odd at first, but you soon get used to it. Also, use keyboard shortcuts; it's much quicker and better for the wrist. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41g%2BNnQ2JdL._SL500_AA300_.jpg 1
